Heat in Kirishi

Real summer July weather is set in Kirishi. The juniors try to do what is in their power and even typically youthful intolerance and natural desire to prove one's right ness have right for existence. Five rounds are played and after today's six the participants will have a day of rest. The youngest Grandmaster of the world, Indian Parimarjan Negi and Zaven Andriasian from Armenia are for the present ahead, they have gathered four points each. Armenian Grandmaster has overtaken P.Negi being in the lead, he won unluckily perfomine Falko Bindrich from Germany. Jan Nepomniashchy has three and a half points who won in the fourth and fifth rounds. Rauf Mamedov (Azerbajan) and Avetik Grigorian (Armenia) have three points each. Yesterday the organizing committee did photographing of participants. To say the truth, sunny weather had somewhat bad effect on the photographies, but a good memory of tournament would not subside because of that!

Grandmaster J.Razuvaev, chairman of tournament appeal committee has greeted personally the participants before the fifth round.

A game Nepomniashchy - Bindrich has continues 24 moves alone and ended with a victory of the Russian who has closely approached the leader.

A stubborn struggle is ahead and I'm sure we'll see a lot of surprises. The last year tournament winner Ivan Popov (Moscow) and Sergey Zhigalko (Minsk), who performed finely at the European championship among men in Poland, cannot find their game. A close tournament schedule perhaps tells on it. Well, chess turns more and more in sports, sports for young. Let's see who will be more strong and confident at the finish! The organizer's committee and arbitres are as always obliging to maximum and are as much as possible precautionary and do their work clearest. Special prizes are set for the best creative game achievements. Who will win in the tournament? It remains to wait for it not so long!
